The Ranch Place subdivision is a neighborhood of 254 single-family homes within the community of Silver Springs and just one mile from Kimball Junction and Interstate 80 on Route 224.  Nearly half of the homes back up to Swaner Nature Preserve, an area that will forever remain as open space.

Most homes are mountain contemporary style with three or four bedrooms and 3-car garages.  All are on level lots with mountain views and some with ski area views.  It is a very pet-friendly area surrounded by lots of open space and a large county park with sports facilities walking distance away.

The trail system that connects Kimball Junction and Park City goes right through the neighborhood.

The fast-growing neighborhood was started in 1995 but a few building lots remain.  Homes sold in 2007 and 2008 ranged from $650,000 to $1,600,000.  A few of the homes are vacation homes, occupied only for weeks during the winter and summer season, but most are full-time residents working in Park City or Salt Lake City, just a 30 minute drive away.

The Ranch Place subdivision is outside the city limits of Park City and is part of the Snyderville Basin. It is part of the Park City School District.  Ranch Place is accessed from Highway 224 to Cutter Lane. Cutter Lane runs throughout Ranch Place and is the area’s main thoroughfare. Roads branching off Cutter Lane that make up the rest of Ranch Place are: Winchester Ct, Browning Ct, Remington Lane, Charlais Lane, Abilene Way, Angus Ct, Martingale Lane, Sagebrush Rd, Haystack Ct, and Split Rail Lane which leads into the nearby Willow Creek subdivision.  Ranch Place rd leads into the north Silver Springs subdivision. There are also two small cul-de-sac spurs into the Swaner Eco Preserve; Sandhill and Red Fox courts.
