The Silver King and Shadow Ridge Hotels in Old Town Park City offer studio to 3 bedroom condominium residences within walking distance of Park City Mountain Resort. These Condo-Tel developments sit side by side at 1485 Empire Ave. (Silver King) and 1445 Lowell Ave. (Shadow Ridge). Their location is a short walk across the parking lot from the ski resort. Shadow Ridge and Silver King are in one of the area's best location that isn't ski-in/ski-out.
Silver King and Shadow Ridge offer similar amenities to one-another. Both have heated underground assigned parking, elevators, staffed front desks, conference and meeting facilities, pools and hot tubs, and air conditioning, as well as the already mentioned Park City Mountain Resort location. Both also offer ski resort and valley views.
The Shadow Ridge Hotel was built in 1990 and is brick construction. The entry level has a lobby and front desk as well as retail and office space. There is a ski rental company located on this level also. There are just more than 50 residential properties in the hotel; the majority are 2 bedroom, 3 bath single level models between 1100 and 1400 square feet. Most feature multiple lock-out capabilities for nightly rentals.
The Silver King Hotel was constructed in 1983 and has just over 60 residences. Silver King features an atrium lobby and an indoor/outdoor heated pool. Units also have ski storage and washer/dryers inside. Offerings at Silver King tend to be smaller than their neighbor Shadow Ridge with many studio and one bedroom models in the 600 to 900 square foot range; there are a few 2 and 3 bedroom models as well.
Both Shadow Ridge and Silver King are classified as condominium hotels and offer amenities that are not found at nearby Powder Pointe and Snowcrest . Both are easy walking distance to the slopes at Park City Mountain Resort, but are not ski-in/ski-out like the Resort Center and Snow Flower. Shadow Ridge and Silver King offer a great Park City location that is central to most all things Park City- walking distance to most and easily reached by bus to all others.
