Talisman - Heber

The Talisman private golf club and home development has been an unfortunate victim of the economic downturn of 2008/2009 and is no longer. Look for this area to reappear under a new name when Park City, Utah economic conditions allow. The now defunct Talisman Development is adjacent to the Victory Ranch Club which also has a golf course. Future development of the Sorenson land holdings (near Talisman to the west) include two more golf course possibilities. The former talisman property also shares a southern boundary with the Red Ledges golf course and luxury residential community. When completed in the summer of 2008 this Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course will be one of the "must play" courses in the area. Both the course and the surrounding home sites will offer spectacular views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and Deer Valley ski area. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. has taken full advantage of the beautiful "distractions". His bold design will test your concentration and poise, from the first 500 yard par 4 to the last 600 yard par 5. From the ridgelines and on down to the meadow lakes, he has brought it all into play. Mother Nature would be proud. You could be humbled.
